  Local hair and tattoo studio raise over Three thousand dollars for the Cleveland Animal Protective League Blondie Hair Design and Alligator Ink Studios of Mentor, Ohio are proud to announce they have raised over three thousand dollars in just under two months during their fundraising campaign to raise money for the Cleveland Animal Protective League. Due to the success of the fundraiser, Blondie Hair Design and Alligator Ink Studios have decided to extend the event until March 1, 2011. The event began on August 14, 2010 with a cut-a-thon as well as a marathon of tattooing where all stylists and tattoo artists volunteered their services for donations being made to the APL. The event was a success due its loyal clientele and great co-sponsorship provided by: TIGI hair products, Hyde Park Restaurant Group, Theresa’s Pizza of Mentor, Capelli’s Catering services, Billy’s Martini bar, Dave’s Cosmic Subs of Mentor, Wines for You, Debonne Vineyards, Cellar Rats Brewery, Curves of Mentor-on-the Lake, Betty Buns specialty bakers, Panini’s of Chagrin Falls, and Kramer Printing. The fundraising event continues thru March 1, 2010 where Blondie Hair Design will be offering free haircuts to all new clients with a five-dollar (5.00$) donation to the Cleveland APL. Alligator Ink Studios will also be offering their services to new clients for free on each Tuesday thru March 1, for a considerable donation to the APL. The fundraiser is being extended thru the month of March in order to reach its goal of raising five thousand dollars for the Cleveland Animal Protective League. The money being raised for the Cleveland APL will be going towards the rescue, rehab and relief of severely neglected and abused animals. The Cleveland Animal Protective league relies solely on donations to investigate and prosecute animal cruelty and provide shelter and care for more than fifteen thousand (15,000) animals a year. The Cleveland APL’s mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering, and has been serving the animals and people of Cleveland since 1913.
